Description of the electoral division

(Explanatory note)

The division of Bourget comprises the part of the Ville de Montréal situated in the borough of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and bounded as follows: the autoroute Transcanadienne (25), the boundary of the borough of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, the fleuve Saint-Laurent, the extension of the railway line of the Canadian National Railway Company, this railway line and its extension, and the rue Sherbrooke Est.

a part of the previous electoral division of Laval.
1972 The new electoral division of BOURGET is made up of:

a part of the previous electoral division of Bourget.
1980 The new electoral division of BOURGET is made up of:
  • a part of the previous electoral division of Anjou
    (4 886 electors);
  • a part of the previous electoral division of Bourget
    (27 697 electors);
  • a part of the previous electoral division of Lafontaine
    (1 580 electors).
1985 The new electoral division of BOURGET is identical to the previous one.
1988 The new electoral division of BOURGET is made up of:
  • a part of the previous electoral division of Bourget
    (29 565 electors);
  • a part of the previous electoral division of Maisonneuve
    (7 318 electors).
1992 The new electoral division of BOURGET is identical to the previous one.
2001 The new electoral division of BOURGET is made up of:
  • a part of the previous electoral division of Anjou
    (5 480 electors);
  • a part of the previous electoral division of Bourget
    (25 696 electors);
  • a part of the previous electoral division of Pointe-aux-Trembles
    (14 929 electors).
2011 The new electoral division of BOURGET is identical to its predecessor.
