Description of the electoral division

(Explanatory note)

The division of Rosemont comprises the part of the Ville de Montréal situated in the borough of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie and bounded as follows: the boundary of the borough of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, the rue Rachel Est, the boundary of the borough of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, the rue Masson and the 6e Avenue.

1972 The electoral division of ROSEMONT is created. It is made up of:
  • a part of the previous electoral division of Gouin;
  • a part of the previous electoral division of Jeanne-Mance.
1980 The new electoral division of ROSEMONT is made up of:
  • the previous electoral division of Rosemont
    (35 478 electors);
  • a part of the previous electoral division of Viau
    (3 449 electors).
1985 The new electoral division of ROSEMONT is identical to the previous one.
1988 The new electoral division of ROSEMONT is identical to the previous one.
1992 The new electoral division of ROSEMONT is identical to the previous one.
2001 The new electoral division of ROSEMONT is made up of:
  • a part of the previous electoral division of Bourget
    (1 250 electors);
  • the previous electoral division of Rosemont
    (39 322 electors);
  • a part of the previous electoral division of Viger
    (10 134 electors).
2011 The new electoral division of ROSEMONT is identical to its predecessor.
