Reserving a political party name

Before presenting an application for authorization, it is possible to reserve a name for a political party in writing. This step is not essential for an application for authorization but it is a prerogative that some parties avail themselves of.

Reservation period

This application is valid for no more than six months.

Possibility of changing the reserved name

A reserved name can be modified by a party, during the application for authorization.
