Voting in Québec program

The Directeur général des élections du Québec is pleased to present an electoral information program entitled Voting in Québec. This program is intended to give newcomers a better knowledge of the electoral system and to assimilate the democratic principles underlying Québec’s political system.

Information session

This program is presented in the form of a session lasting approximately two hours and is hosted by returning officers.

Based on the needs expressed by the organizations requesting the program, the participants in these meetings will be able to:

• attend a slide show presentation on the Québec political and electoral systems;

• take part in a question and answer period;

• receive a brochure ( PDF: 828 KB, 9 pages) and a pamphlet ( PDF: 892 KB, 2 pages) that will recall the main elements presented during the information session.

Requesting a session

Any organization responsible for welcoming immigrants and for teaching them French can apply for a session using this form (in French).
