1.The percentage of valid ballot papers and that of rejected ballot papers are established by calculating, in each case, the total number of ballot papers in relation to the votes cast.
2. The votes cast are obtained by adding the number of valid ballot papers and the number of rejected ballot papers.
3. The turnout rate is established by calculating the votes cast in relation to the number of registered electors.
4. The approval of the Agreement is conditional upon a majority of the votes cast at the time of the referendum being in favour of the Agreement and that this majority represents at least 25% plus one of all electors qualified to vote.
5. The electors who voted at Raglan Mine are registered in different communities.
