Would you like to have access to your personal information

As an elector

The Directeur général des élections du Québec has only the following personal information about you:

• your name;
• your date of birth;
• your sex;
• your language;
• your domiciliary address;
• your mailing address (if different from the domiciliary address).

You can verify this information by contacting the Info Centre. As a protection measure, you would have to provide information on your identity.

In any other capacity

You can receive your personal information by sending us a request for access. To this end, we are presenting you a model letter (Word document) or a request for access form (PDF document).

Your information can only be sent to you, unless you consent to make them available to a third party or unless the Act Respecting Access contains an exception.

Personal information collected by the Directeur général des élections du Québec is stored as per the records retention schedule.

In certain circumstances specified under the Act, the Directeur général des élections du Québec may refuse to confirm the existence of a personal information about you or to communicate it to you
