Since 1999, the various electoral administrations of Canada have pooled their various electoral laws and practices.  This information is henceforth available on a web site known as the Compendium of Election Administration in Canada.

It is thus possible to compare the main provisions of Canadian electoral legislations, notably the electoral map revision process, the registration of electors, the voting process, the filing of nomination papers, the registration of political parties, electoral financing,  etc. In addition, as the compendium archives copies of the previous versions of laws, it is possible to follow the evolution of electoral administration since 1999.
