Public notice - Intention of withdrawal of authorization

The Chief Electoral Officer of Québec intends to withdraw the authorization granted to the municipal political party Fierté Montréal / Montreal Pride Party, in accordance with section 404 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities (R.S.Q., c. E-2.2), for the following reason:

 

  • Failure at all times to have at least 100 members who are qualified electors and hold a valid membership card, all of the former contravening section 399.2 of the AERM.

 

If you wish to make comments or present arguments in respect of the withdrawal of authorization of this party, please submit them in writing no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday September 12, 2012, at the following address:

If you fail to submit your written comments or arguments within the stipulated time, the authorization of the municipal political party Fierté Montréal / Montreal Pride Party will be withdrawn forthwith.
