Public Notice of withdrawal of authorization - Oser Outremont party

The Chief Electoral Officer of Québec proposes to withdraw the authorization of the municipal political party Oser Outremont, in compliance with section 404 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities (R.S.Q., c. E-2.2), for the following reasons:

 

  • Failure to make the appointments required in subdivisions 3 to 5 of Division II of Chapter XIII of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities;

 

  • Failure to provide the Chief Electoral Officer of Québec with the information required to update the register contemplated in section 424 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities; and

 

  • Failure to produce the financial report in the form prescribed by the Chief Electoral Officer of Québec, along with the documents required by law, for the year ending December 31, 2010, in contravention of section 479 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities.

If you would like to make comments or present arguments in connection with the decision that the Chief Electoral Officer of Québec is preparing to make, please submit them in writing, no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26 2012, at the following address:

If your comments or arguments are not submitted in writing by the above deadline, the authorization of the municipal political party Oser Outremont will be withdrawn.
