Withdrawal of authorization entails in particular the loss of the right to solicit or receive contributions, to incur electoral expenses and to contract loans for electoral purposes.

In accordance with the provisions of section 72 of the Election Act, the Chief Electoral Officer wishes to inform the public that on May 11, 2018, he withdrew authorization of the Parti unité nationale. Ms. Lisette Gauthier was the official representative of this party.

In accordance with the provisions of section 72 of the Election Act, the Chief Electoral Officer wishes to inform the public that on May 2, 2018, he withdrew authorization of the Parti indépendantiste. Mr. François Gauthier was the official representative of this party.

This withdrawal became effective on December 21, 2015. Ms. Louise Day was the official representative of this party.

Ms. Mina Margareta was the official representative of this party.

In accordance with the provisions of section 72 of the Election Act, the Chief Electoral Officer wishes to inform the public that on December 4th, he withdrew authorization of the Parti des immigrés du Québec. Mr. Sebastian Pirau was the official representative of this party.

[2] A merger occurs when at least two parties decide to form a new joint party. Upon the merger, the original parties and their authorities cease to exist and are replaced by the party and the authorities ensuing from the merger.
