You can now visit the 2021 municipal elections website at www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/municipales/en/. Lots of information is available on this website, both on the various voting options and on health measures that will be in place during those elections.
During the election period, which starts on September 17, this site will also list the names of candidates in each municipality, as well as the results of the November 7 elections.
It is important to remember that the organization of the municipal elections is under the control of the returning officer of each municipality. However, Élections Québec offers consulting services to support them in the organization of elections in their territory.
In addition, throughout a municipal election year, Élections Québec deploys several means of communication to keep you well informed about the conduct of these elections and to encourage voter turnout of as many people as possible. So stay tuned, on our social media among others!
