The municipalities on this list will divide their territory into electoral districts for the 2025 general municipal election, under Chapter III of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities. The data listed is from the population writ instituting an election published in the Gazette officielle du Québec on December 27, 2023.
When a sufficient number of electors object to their municipality’s division by-law, the Commission de la représentation électorale holds a public hearing.
