Moving? Don’t forget the list of electors!

2 July 2020

Categories: Municipal, Provincial, School board, Voting

Did you just move to a new location? Or do you plan to move in the near future? If so, be sure to update your information on the list of electors using the Service québécois de changement d’adresse (SQCA). That way, you’ll be ready to vote in the next election!

In Quebec, individuals who wish to vote must be registered on the list of electors at their home address. Voters must be 18 years of age or older and must be Canadian citizens.

Did you recently help someone to move or do you know someone who’ll be moving in the near future? If so, do them a big favour and send them a link to the SQCA! By completing a single procedure, they can forward their new address to the seven participating government departments and agencies.

The Charter of the French language and its regulations govern the consultation of English-language content.
