Intention of withdrawal of authorization

 

July 17, 2012

The Chief Electoral Officer of Québec intends to withdraw the authorization granted to the provincial political party Parti communiste du Québec, in accordance with section 68 of the Election Act (R.S.Q., c. E-3.3), for the following reason:

- Failure at all times to have at least 100 members who are qualified electors and hold a valid membership card.

If you wish to make comments or present arguments in respect of the withdrawal of authorization of this party, please submit them in writing no later than 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday July 27, 2012, at the following address:

If you fail to submit your written comments or arguments within the stipulated time, subject to the comments or arguments that the party concerned may make or present, the authorization of the provincial political party Parti communiste du Québec will be withdrawn forthwith.
