Search contributions paid to political entities by financial year
Before May 1, 2011
According to the Act, the name of every donors who made a total contribution of more than $200 to a political party had to be disclosed on the Chief Electoral Officer's website at the time the annual financial report was tabled.
As from May 1, 2011
According to the Act, the surnames, given names, postal codes and cities of donors who have made contributions to authorized political parties must be disclosed on the website not later than 30 working days after being received at the Chief Electoral Officer's office.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Contributions of more than $200 made between January 1 and April 30, 2011, will be disclosed on the Chief Electoral Officer's website when the political entities' financial reports are tabled in spring 2012.

Until December 31, 2010, the total amount of the contributions that an elector was permitted to make during a calendar year was limited to $3,000 to each political party, including its authority, and to each independent candidate and authorized independent Member. This limit was reduced to $1,000 on January 1, 2011.
