Please note that prior to May 1, 2011, the Election Act allowed the disclosure of the family name and first name of contributors making total contributions of over $200 to a political party, at the time of filing the annual financial report.

Since May 1, 2011, the Act has required the disclosure of the family name, first name, postal code and city of residence for contributors who have made a contribution to an authorized political entity, regardless of the amount, no later than 30 working days after it has been received by the DGEQ.

This period is 5 working days following the receipt of contribution slips by the DGEQ in the context of a political party leadership campaign.
