Advance polling starts tomorrow!

24 September 2022

Categories: Democracy education, General election, Provincial, Voting

Advance polling stations will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on September 25 and 26, 2022. If you have the right to vote, you can look up your polling place online or refer to the notice of entry you received in the mail. Voting at an advance poll is a great option if you won’t be able to get out and vote on election day.

Once you arrive, you’ll need to present one of the following forms of identification:

  • Québec driver’s licence
  • Québec health insurance card
  • Canadian passport
  • Certificate of Indian Status
  • Canadian Forces identification card

When you arrive at the polling place, you’ll be greeted by election officers who will direct you and explain the voting process.

Experience democracy as a family!

Do you have young children? Introduce them to democracy by visiting a small polling station together. Available at every polling place, small polling stations give children a chance to express themselves on a question prepared just for them. Find out more about this question at www.elections.quebec/petitsbureaux.

On October 3, let’s reverse the trend.
Let’s all vote.
