New in 2021: Vote at the office of your returning officer!

25 October 2021

Categories: General election, Municipal, Voting

This year, due to the health situation, the returning officer of your municipality can organize voting days at their office or at any other place they choose.

They can hold up to four voting days at their office. They can do so on October 29 and November 1, 2 and 3, 2021, from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Contact your returning officer to find out if this voting method is available in your municipality.

The advantages of this type of vote

Voting at the returning officer’s office allows you to vote on a weekday in an accessible and less crowded room, and in turn, gives you more time to exercise your right to vote, if necessary.
