During the recent by-election in the Marie-Victorin electoral division, local youngsters were encouraged to cast votes of their own at the small virtual polling station.
From March 9 to April 11, the children of Marie-Victorin were able to join their parents in learning about the various steps involved in the voting process: verifying their identity, receiving a ballot paper and placing the ballot paper in the ballot box. These voters in training were asked to vote on the following question: What is most important to you?
A majority thought that it was most important to help others.
The small polling station helped make this by-election a family affair!
