History of Québec’s electoral map

Historical atlas of Québec electoral divisions

This historical atlas illustrates the changes made to the electoral map since 1965. Compare the electoral maps from 1965, 1972, 1980, 1985, 1988, 1992, 2001, 2011 and 2017. Each of these electoral maps is accompanied by their corresponding municipal boundaries.

The Historical atlas of Québec electoral maps is a large file; it contains a significant amount of data due to the quality of information displayed. It may take several minutes to download the data. The display is optimized for video cards that use OpenGL. Video cards that only support DirectX do not provide the same presentation quality.

The electoral atlas is the property of the Commission de la représentation électorale du Québec and Élections Québec, who hold the intellectual property rights.
