Québec City, May 13, 1996 -- The Chief Electoral Officer of Québec, Mr. Pierre-F. Côté, Q.C., is making public today his report on the complaints he received and the inquiries he has been conducting further to the Referendum of October 1995 regarding rejected ballot papers and the "Unity Rally".

The findings of these inquiries can be found in the enclosed document which is an extract from the Chief Electoral Officer’s Report entitled "Summary of the Report and Opinion of the Chief Electoral Officer".
