Québec, April 9, 2003 –– Mr. Marcel Blanchet, Québec’s Chief Electoral Officer, would like to remind electors that April 9, 2003 is the last day for entering their names on the list of electors for the April 14 general elections. Electors have until 9:00 p.m. this evening to do so.
Québec, April 8, 2003 ––Québec’s Chief Electoral Officer, Mr. Marcel Blanchet, has announced that a total of 304,418 electors, or 5,56% of the total number of electors entered on the lists of electors prior to the special revision, exercised their right to vote in the advance poll held on April 6 and 7 last.

Québec, March 28, 2003 –– On the occasion of the general elections of April 14 next, Quebec’s Chief Electoral Officer, Mr. Marcel Blanchet, wishes to inform people who are hospitalized or residing in an establishment recognized by the Act respecting health and social services (reception centre, hospital centre or long-term residential care centre) that special measures will be implemented to facilitate the exercise of their right to vote.
Québec, March 27, 2003 –– Québec’s Chief Electoral Officer, Mr. Marcel Blanchet, wishes to inform certain categories of electors residing temporarily away from home that they may elect to exercise their right to vote in either the polling subdivision in which their domicile is located, or the polling subdivision in which they are residing temporarily.
