What is RAPEQ?

Keeping of a register

The Directeur général des élections du Québec must, under the Election Act, keep a register of authorized political entities of Québec (RAPEQ). This register contains information, among others, on authorized political parties and authorized independent candidates.

Protection of personal information

The information that must appear in the register is contained in the Act. Some of these items are not presented on the Web site in order to protect the confidentiality of personal information.
