Provincial election media guidelines

Radio and television broadcasters, cable companies, newspapers, periodicals, and other media have a role to play in the application of certain provisions of electoral laws, especially regarding rules on political financing and the auditing of election expenses. While the responsibilities of media representatives are given here in layman’s terms, these articles of law remain effective. Any media outlet that does not comply with these articles of law is committing a criminal offence and could be liable to a fine.
