Citizen round table
Summary
The Citizen round table is a space for discussion that aims to encourage citizen participation and to fuel our thinking on electoral matters. The members, 12 citizens from all walks of life, are responsible for giving opinions to the Chief Electoral Officer and the Officer’s teams.

Rules and code of conduct
Consult the Citizen round table’s operating rules and code of conduct to know more.
Benefits
Élections Québec receives the opinions of the members of the round table with interest and an open mind. These opinions inform the institution’s work.
Some reflections from the members of the 2023–2025 Citizen round table were published in the report Pour une nouvelle vision de la Loi électorale (PDF – in French), which proposes legislative changes and improvements to the election processes. It was a nice recognition for the members.
We post the meeting minutes on our website while ensuring the anonymity of the members. We also report on the work done by the Citizen round table in our annual management report (in French), which we table in the Assemblée nationale du Québec.
