Public notice - Intention of withdrawal of authorization

The Chief Electoral Officer of Québec intends to withdraw the authorization granted to the municipal political party Équipe Marcotte – Ralliement Mascouche, in accordance with section 404 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities (R.S.Q., c. E-2.2), for the following reasons: 

  

  • Failure to make more than one appointment as required by subsections 3 to 5 of Division II of Chapter XIII of Title I of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities; and

 

  • Failure to provide the Chief Electoral Officer of Québec with the information required to update the register mentioned in section 424 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities.

 

If you wish to make comments or present arguments in respect of the withdrawal of authorization of this party, please submit them in writing no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012, at the following address:

If you fail to submit your written comments or arguments within the stipulated time, the authorization of the municipal political party Équipe Marcotte – Ralliement Mascouche will be withdrawn.
