Condition to exercise his right to vote

To be able to exercise your right to vote in a general election or a by-election, you must be registered on the list of electors. To know more >>

Parents with children

If you have one or more children enrolled in the French-language or English-language school board serving your place of domicile, you will be registered in that school board.

Adults without children

If you do not have children enrolled in the French-language or English-language school board serving your domicile, you will automatically be entered on the list of electors of the French-language school board where your domicile is located.

However, if you wish to vote in the English-language school board having jurisdiction over the territory in which your domicile is located, you must submit an application to the director general of this school board and, during an election period, to the returning officer.
